2016 Award Winner
The 2016 Dr. Robert J. Dunlop Student Scholar Award winner was Evan Mattice, a fourth year audiology student from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). He was unanimously nominated by the AuD faculty, and by other audiology professionals, for his excellence in academics and professionalism. Throughout his residence at UTD, he worked as a hearing aid technician in the Callier audiology clinic. His professors stated that he led by example and took special interest in teaching incoming students about the hearing aid program, and that he exemplified a team player. His third year research project was accepted by the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) to present at their annual meeting. Congratulations to Evan!
